Cute and Convenient, but Be Aware of a Few Things: This is a cute and clean hotel with friendly staff. The location is very convenient, just 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and there's a guest laundry room, which is a nice plus. However, the rooms are quite small, including the bathroom and shower (think European size). Breakfast is grab-and-go only, and there’s no breakfast room. You choose your items online the night before, but I didn’t always receive what I selected, so if you have dietary restrictions, be cautious. Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re looking for a clean and friendly place to sleep while exploring the area.
The rooms are cozy - and practical. We were provided with enough of what we needed for 2 people and a dog. However if you come from a family of 4+ - get two rooms. It is family friendly. Picnic, pool, swing set and even an area to play some football or soccer. The staff so friendly and accommodating. The location was away from the hustle and bustle which was nice because we were able to explore other areas of Bar Harbor and still be in a central location. There is a bus stop right on the location which is primo for traveling and not having to worry about parking. One thing we did not take advantage - which I thought was a great idea was ordering breakfast for the morning. This place was nostalgic for me as this would have been the place that would have been a happy memory as a kid, however as an adult it was peaceful and relaxing.
Perfect Mom & Pop establishment! Everyone was extremely nice. Room was small but perfect for me. Breakfast was grab & go & the gluten free muffins were wonderful. They have a pool & a sweet laundry room with a table for folding clothes. The ice & vending machines were also in there. Tom took care of the fire pit every night & he had chairs set up for about 12 people, which seemed to be full each night. Perfect quiet location. 8 miles from the Acadia National Park guest center, 10 minutes from Bar Harbor. A step back in time for sure.
Clean room, great smelling towels and sheets. Advertise a continental breakfast which turns out is a grab and go pre packaged pastries. Our room had the shortest toilet, actually think my granddaughter’s training potty is higher off the ground.
We just had a great stay at the Belle Isle Motel! Rooms were clean and comfortable and kind and helpful service when needed! It was about a 10-15 minute ride into Bar Harbor and Acadia, making it easy to get to either. Would recommend!
Really close to the town and close to a great view in front of the ocean. The rooms are clean and nice for having a good night of sleep. It includes breakfast. Totally recommend it.
Great location. Clean room. Great bag breakfast, it’s more than you need!! Best smelling towels in town. Nice clean laundry! Small bathroom but worked for us! Would stay again!
